It's been a while, so I thought I would share what's been goin' on in my life:
(in chronological - if I can remember:)
Drinking in and around the music capital that is Camden. I don't know why but I still enjoy it. Is it me or is the Good Mixer becoming rather cool and fashionable again? Well it has been a decade since the blur/oasis britpop scene. It just seems so busy. Or maybe its the weather! Anyhow, that tends to be the last port of call for moi after other pubs!
I went to the TMF Festival and throughly enjoyed it. Took over a 100 snaps and done some interviewing as well. Here are how they finished in my ratings for the day: 1 - Art Brut - Need I say anymore. (I had the freedom to dance and sing in the photo pit. Sooo much fun!) 2 - Metro Riots - They rocked and should be big any time now! 3 - Duke Spirit - Put up a fantastic show. And Leila is one hell of a Debbie Harry frontwoman. 4 - The Others - An off day. Tho, the new work doesn't sound bad. 5 - New Rhodes - They had to do the White Heat festival hours later and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Nice lads.
The only down side was no free bar. Expensive and lacklustre. But I'll be back next year. Next stop V...
Other news, is my head is spinning. lol! Life's throwing up some challenges for me right at the moment, and am finding it hard to handle. I think you can handle it if its one or the other; personal/career. But when its everything thrown into the melting pot, its not so easy. I wake up everyday like i've been hit in the face. My body feels tired from the moment I wake to the moment I go to bed. My head aches and I can't wait to hit the bottle. Someone said i'm depressed. Whopee! Personally i'm at the stage where I want to see a psychaitrist. I just don't know where my life is going at the mo. I think i've hit the brick wall.
I quote one of my best ever films - The Shawshank Redemption - "Get busy living or get busy dying."
I feel one of these thoughts will come into my cerebral soon. Let's just hope its the former and not the latter! ;)

I also agree with you on The Subways thing. I'm from Welwyn Garden, and everybody is rather excited that the place has spawned a 'NME worthy band,' but I just don't get them.
Mind if I add you?
